Find a spot in your yard that gets full sun, the more sun the better. Plant your Grand Champion Rose in a hole twice is wide, but as deep as the root ball. Water immediately to establish roots. Add a 3-inch layer of mulch to prevent weeds.
Watering: Water frequently until the plant is established. Once the roots are established, add 1-inch water per week.
Pruning: Once established, you can prune your Grand Champion every February by cutting the shrub down to half its height. While this isn't necessary, it will help your plant produce more roses.
Fertilization: Purchase a rose fertilizer and follow the instructions on the package for frequency and amount.
