Welcome Every Year with Vibrant, Golden Yellow Flowers

Everyone will know spring has arrived thanks to the gorgeous yellow blooms on your Northern Gold Forsythia. Enjoy an abundance of vivid color in your landscaping when you plant several of these forsythias as a border or grouping.

Live in a cooler climate? Have plenty of deer in your area? In addition to being a low- maintenance shrub, the Northern Gold Forsythia is also cold-hardy, and deer and pest-resistant. Easy to grow and care for, your forsythia is both versatile and adaptable to many climates.

Growing 6-8 feet tall, the Northern Gold Forsythia is compact and provides a warm addition to many different outdoor spaces. After the spectacular spring flowers, you will enjoy rich green leaves on the shrub throughout the summer. Add year-round beauty and interest to your yard by adding Northern Gold Forsythia to it today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting:  Northern Gold Forsythia requires full sunlight in order to thrive, as well as plenty of room to spread as they grow. Plant in well-drained soil by digging a hole large enough to accommodate your Northern Gold Forsythia’s root ball, backfill the soil and water to settle the roots.

If planting more than one Northern Gold Forsythia, be sure to space them at least 4 feet apart.

2. Watering: Once established, Northern Gold Forsythias will still need periodic watering, particularly in warmer climates.

3. Pruning: Prune your Northern Gold Forsythia after it is done flowering to maintain form and shape.

4. Fertilizing: Feed your Northern Gold Forsythia with a fertilizer that's high in phosphorous and prepare for the show. Vibrant blooms will emerge every spring.
