About Bloomables®: Bloomables® makes it easy to have a garden that blooms all season. This collection of roses, shrubs, and perennials have been carefully selected to provide an easy and beautiful gardening experience. Bright colors, unique textures, and of course, amazing blooms, make this collection one-of-a-kind.
1. Planting: Sunset Horizon™ roses are low-maintenance and need full sunlight. Plant them in an area that receives at least 6 hours of sun per day. Use big containers or plant them in the ground, leaving 2-3 feet of space between each plant and other structures.
2. Watering: This rose thrives in average soil with watering once per week. Water at the base of the rose, taking care to avoid foliage and flowers.
3. Fertilizing: It is best to use a granular dose fertilizer containing alfalfa meal for roses, as it can be absorbed at root level.
4. Pruning: Pruning can help direct the shape of Sunset Horizon™ roses. Occasionally, cutting back older stems a few inches above the soil can promote healthy growth from the base. Floribunda pruning should be done in early spring. To encourage repeat blooming, cut just above the five-leaf part on a stem after a rose flower has bloomed. However, deadheading should be stopped in the fall.
