Sweetest Orange That Resists Colder Temperatures

For the sweetest, juiciest orange that’s nearly seedless, try the Hamlin Sweet Orange Tree for Georgia! It’s a variety like no other, with softball-sized oranges that have a perfect citrus flavor.

If you want to make your own fresh orange juice in Georgia, this is one of the top orange varieties grown for juicing! You can bake it, make marmalade, have a fruit salad, and so much more with this scrumptious fruit.

Also known as the “Sweet Orange,” the Hamlin is an excellent addition to edible gardens, borders, pathways, and even around patios in Georgia. Plus, it attracts butterflies and birds  to your georgia landscape!!

With its beautiful evergreen foliage and fragrant white blossoms, you can enjoy this lovely tree before the fruit appears in fall in Georgia. These oranges ripen from October to January with high yield, which is earlier than other orange varieties!

Unlike other orange trees, this one is cold hardy! If you want your own orange grove, this tree is the perfect choice.

For a long season of delicious oranges and bountiful fruit, buy your very own Hamlin Sweet Orange today!

Please Note: This product is specific to Georgia. Find Hamlin Sweet Orange Trees available in other states.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant in an area where it can receive full sunlight (8 hours or more per day) in soil that is well-draining. If planted in a container, place your tree in a south-facing window for enough sunlight.

2. Watering: For trees planted in a container, they will require more water than those planted in the ground. In the spring, water 2-3 times per week. In the summer, up your watering to a daily occurrence, so long as the soil doesn’t get soggy. Misting the tree, especially indoors, allows for proper humidity.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring or late winter with a citrus-specific fertilizer, like the one included in our Citrus Care Kit, generally once every six weeks. During the fall and winter season, ease back to fertilizing once every 2 to 3 months. Make sure to follow the application instructions written on the fertilizer bag.

4. Pruning: In order to promote growth outwards, prune the tree by cutting back broken, diseased, or dead branches as they develop. Eliminate any crossing or rubbing branches.
